With more than 20 years of experience in independent schools, coaching, and business leadership, he brings expertise in strategic planning, operations, and team development. McClain believes an athletic program should be grounded in character, and discipline while helping athletes reach their athletic goals.

Assistant Athletic Director

Throughout his tenure, he has served in numerous leadership roles and built extensive coaching experience, particularly in basketball. His commitment to students, coaches, and the Webb community reflects a passion for developing young people through athletics and preserving the values that define the school’s athletic tradition.

Garrett Booth
Sports Information Director
gbooth@webbschool.comGarrett Booth serves as Sports Information Director at The Webb School, where he promotes the achievements and stories of Webb’s student-athletes and athletic programs. A member of the Webb community for five years, Booth brings experience as a basketball coach and a deep understanding of Middle Tennessee’s media landscape. Having grown up in the area, he brings valuable local connections and a passion for sharing the Webb athletics experience with the broader community.

Carlos Gonzalez
Director of Performance
carlosgonzalez@webbschool.comCarlos Gonzalez serves as Director of Performance and Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, where he oversees the Health and Human Performance program and supports the physical development of all students. A former Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Baltimore Orioles, Gonzalez brings elite-level experience in athletic performance, training, and athlete development. He is committed to helping students build healthy habits and maximize their potential through science based training.
Tenisha Lockridge
Middle School Athletic Coordinator
tenishalockridge@webbschool.comTenisha Lockridge serves as Middle School Athletic Coordinator, Head Varsity Girls’ Basketball Coach, and Physical Education teacher at The Webb School. A former standout player at Brentwood Academy and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, she brings coaching experience from Tennessee and Texas, where she led highly successful varsity programs. Lockridge is committed to helping student-athletes grow through confidence, discipline, and character development.
